Cant access plex locally

Server Version#:1.42.2.10156
Player Version#:web app
I moved to a new place recently and moved the server of course and was having some issues reaching the server remotely. And none of my local devices could reach the server other than my computers if I put in the servers local ip. So instead of figuring out the remote issues, I decided to change “List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth” to “192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0” and hopefully my TVs and such could connect to the server locally. How now I can’t access the server at all locally even if I put in the ip on my computers. If I do go to the servers local IP I get the “Plex Web would like to sign in to your plex account” and that the server is not hosted by plex screen. If i do login I cant see any of the content nor can I see any of the options in settings for the local server.

Also want to say, I saw the post recently about allowing local access in chrome and firefox. I also tried that, and no difference

See Client says it won't play from "remote server", although the server is local for a general list of things to check.

Also, after switching to a different router, ensure that

  • each network device has been (thoroughly) rebooted. e.g. powering off windows and switching it back on is not a proper reboot
  • check the settings of all devices involved and look for IP addresses which don’t fit into your current home network. There could be remnants from your old home network’s IP range in there.
