Can't access Plex server

So, the server just stopped being able to be connected to.

it all started with me seeing a red flagg at the remote access settings, I decided to restart the server since this is a bit glitchy sometimes. note, that even though it said it wasn’t accessible I could access it through my phone, the web and my desktop client. after the reboot, I could only connect through my phone, and not my pc/web. but now the access to the web is green… wth.

this exact setup have worked flawlessly for days, even reseting the plex and the server again makes no difference.

I’ve changed nothing, yet it just stopped randomly working. so I suspect that this is some typical network problem and nothing with the actual software setup on my server. so this is my network-setup atm.

fiber(dynamic IP) -> modem -> Deco m5 mesh router -> switch -> server

what should I do to fix this?

I’m having a very similar problem. Started approximately 3hrs back. When did you notice your issue?

Same here Karl. Have had zero luck fixing it either. Also haven’t heard anything from Plex. What is the deal here?

@“Karl Blixt” sounds like you, @mystpwnz0r, and I are having the same issue. I done all the trouble shooting I can stand for one evening. Here’s hoping that it will be corrected in the morning.

Same here was just going to look for the burn in subtitles option and it dropped the connection when i changed page. I am now unable to login using PMP app for OS X or Android. Really sucks cause I’m out of country… :\

Okay so we got a 4th person. Definitely starting to think this is on their end.

It appears Plex account services is having issues. DO NOT bother with downgrades or config changes. I have spent the last hour doing so, and now get “Plex is down for maintenance” when I visit Plex.TV

You can still have access locally, and it should run, just any app based, or remote attempts, will not work.

Appears you can however (if manual port forwarded) hit via your external IP and the external port (I have tested successfully).

Fail point seems to be surrounding the accounts aspect of Plex.

This is a PLEX issue, not your personal setups. Posting to hopefully save people alot of time and headaches.

I have the same issue. My server settings says Version 1.9.4.4325 Something went wrong. Please install manually. and here is what the linked web page says:

Plex is down for maintenance. Grab a tea, and we will be back online shortly. You can always visit status.plex.tv for current information. Thank you for your patience.

In the mean time, status.plex.tv reports no incidents and all green operational.

lol their main site is down? what a ■■■■■■■ joke.

Yeah this has to have something to do with their user account setup. I noticed now after I logged back into my server locally, all my users except for my main user are missing. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Got people waiting to login.

Having the same issue. Ugh just tried updating to the newest plex server client. Then now nothings working …!!!

@DrBeaker eh, yeah. I’m watching spider man on my phone while I can’t even log in on my account on my pc… something is messed up.

Well I guess I should have checked in here first. I was trying to upload to Plex Cloud and things got glitchy. SonI just decided to reinstall PMS - deleted and am now unable to download from the Plex website. It looks like their website has crashed as well.
