Can't access server without internet

Server Version#: Can’t says for sure, don’t have access to my server (certainly the latest version)
Player Version#: Same.

Can’t provide any logs, because again I don’t have access to my server.
Fun fact, I do have access to front end, the plex home page, but I have an saying my server isn’t accessible. Even funnier, my server does run on the same server as the front end.

So how can I solve this, and why do Plex dev’s don’t make an offline services !

Update, the landing page / front end, was accessible through my share connection, but after testing without it.
I can’t even have access to it.

Most likely, the front end is online and won’t access to my server.

very interesting design !

did you configure " List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth "

Hi, no I did, but I’ve disable the option “allow insecure connection”, and " List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth " do not work without “allow insecure connection

And right now, without any access to my server I can’t make the change !

My Nvidia Shield, have access though, Plex do take one minute to connect, but it work.
These computer and my Shield are on the same network.

On Linux distros –

  1. Stop PMS
  2. Edit Preferences.xml
  3. Manually add the preference and value, e.g.
allowedNetworks="192.168.0.0,255.255.255.0"

This allows my 192.168.0.x , netmask 255.255.255.0, to connect without auth.

  1. Save the file
  2. Start PMS

As I’ve said, my network is already on connection without auth list.

Problem “solved”, my internet outage is fixed, I can connect to my server now.

But it would be a great idea to have an option for local account, I will investigate other solution. AKA Jellyfin, for a paying service Plex has to much limitation.
There is a web player that can be played localy ? Without any internet connection ?

And I won’t speak about all the problem with resolution in remote play, web player or apps.
