How do I access my server when my internet goes out?

Hey, our internet died last week unexpectedly but I wasn’t worried, told the wife we’d have all out movies to watch, but when I fired up plex on the TV, couldnt find it. None of the plex apps on our devices connected to local wifi could see it either.

Am I missing some configuration or something, because everything should be local in our network except the ability to connect from outside (which I love, but clearly not an option when that happens)

With everything signed out (as far as it’s concerned),

Go to your PMS, Settings - Server - Network -Show Advanced

Scroll down a bit and enter your local lan’s address and netmask. It will allow you to continue to operate. HOWEVER, you won’t have access to any of your Plex Pass features (these require an active connection)

Below is from my Network settings as example

**List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth **

192.168.0.0/255.255.254.0

Comma separated list of IP addresses or IP/netmask entries for networks that are allowed to access Plex Media Server without logging in. When the server is signed out and this value is set, only localhost and addresses on this list will be allowed.
