This has been going on for a while but has gotten intolerable. I have a plex pass and a server i run on a windows machine. Even on the same computer, with the same login in the browser window, I still only see a “wrench” and can’t access the server settings. Doesn’t work with a managed user on the TV app either. Neither of them are skipping theme songs anymore either. I deep dived into other Qs like this so I did try accessing plex web through the IP address, and it was already there but still no access. Can provide any more info if you tell me how to get it. Help?!?

Update to the latest Plex server version for Windows. https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-media-server
If you have more than one Windows user account on this computer, log out from all user accounts. Then reboot it, and log into the user which you are using regularly.
Inspect the network connection in Windows. It must be marked as “private”, not as “public”.

Then reclaim your server by following this: New Claiming Requirement for Windows
Ensure that your default web browser doesn’t have any browser add-ins, which block and suppress parts of web pages.
Thanks for the reply, hopefully you can help– I did everything you said, did change public to private and ran the .reg file successfully, but when I opened plex it still opened up to my profile, didn’t make me re-claim anything. Any idea where I went wrong / what to try next?
