Server Version#: 1.32.0.6918-6f393eda1
Windows 10 pro
I am trying to migrate my plex server to new(used) hardware. The server installs just fine and I can open the Plex website on localhost.
I can not however access the settings, all of the pages under the settings header error out after about 30 seconds.
I can access all the pages on my current system but want to retire it and get the new system up and running.
All the settings are the same on both servers, I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, stopped and restarted services on both systems to only have one on the network at a time. Nothings seems to let me get into the settings, cant even check the version number on the new system.
Anyone come across this before, or have any ideas of what to check/adjust?
Thanks for the quick response, sadly that did not work.
Following the instructions with logouts and restarts in appropriate spots let me reclaim the server but still will not let me get into the settings.
screenshot attached. This is accessed on local machine, fresh windows install, fresh plex install.
I have another machine that has been up and running for years with no problems. I can access that one from its local machine and from web browsers in local network. If that helps at all.
Full uninstall and install of newest version on plex download page.
Still same problem, cant access any settings pages.
I can access all the settings pages in the web gui for my other server while on the problem server if that helps.
Also post 572 doesnt exist on that thread, but i figured out what you were pointing to.
Yes it does. Are you sure that there is no filter activated in your web browser?
(or perhaps inside your local network? or at your ISP?. Are you perhaps behind the Great Firewall?)
The browser on the server is just barebones firefox, there is a vpn but it doesnt matter if its on or off, i have not changed any rules in any firewall.
Your screenshot is showing posts 572 and 573.
Don’t get confused by the total counter, Apparently some posts in that thread have been deleted, so the total post count is off.
You can see the actual number by mousing over the “posted at” time.
