I can access the shared library on my Samsung phone, but not the LG Fiesta. The app version and android version are no different so I don’t know why one would work and the other wouldn’t.
Android version: 7.0
App version: 8.3.1.19108 (d686ac64)
There is no reason the app shouldn’t be able to see a shared server. Please try accessing that server form both devices and provide both logs so I can compare.
How would I go about getting these logs?
Android logs - Android, Android TV, Fire TV Logs | Plex Support
Manufacturer: samsung
Device: greatqlte
Model: SM-N950U
Product: greatqltesq
Version: 7.1.1
Description of issue: none
And the one trying to access:
Manufacturer: LGE
Device: lv7
Model: LGL64VL
Product: lv7_trf_us_vzw
Version: 7.0
Description of issue: can’t access shared library
I think I did it right
You need to download the logs from your email.
In that case I need to figure out how to stop it from copying to clipboard now
i’m not sure which email client you are using but usually there is a download arrow or you can right click and “save file as” like links on a web page
I mean the debugging thing. Default ended up as copy to clipboard. If I could get to the email we wouldn’t be having this problem. I hope the stuff in network logging works because I can’t get it off of ctc

Found the server you are trying to access. It doesn’t look like they’ve published their server (i.e. they didn’t setup remote access properly) with Plex so they are using some other way to advertise their server’s connection to your app. If your friend is using some special setup, Plex can’t help.
