I can’t access or add a Linux PLEX server to my account.
When I open the server webpage (port 32400), I have a message :
You do not have access to this server.
You may be able to claim it by choosing “Open Plex…” from the Plex menu in the macOS menu bar or Windows system tray.
How to fix a problem?
Are you on the same subnet as the server?
Did you maybe run a version of PMS on that machine using a different Plex account in the past?
Yes, same subnet, 10.10.0.0/16.
I already added the server, changed the name to IP in the browser and fixed a problem.
FYI: this is a PLEX server bug. The DNS name was resolved correctly.
You cannot claim a server if the URL is a FQDN. You must open it by IP address AND be on the same RFC-1918 subnet, ssh-tunnel, or loopback adapter. This is by design for security purposes.
