First time Plex user. I have a new Synology DS918+ running DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 5. I have downloaded the Plex server from the Package server and manually updated it to Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171. I have 1 volume (Volume1) with 2 shared folders (MyDrive and Backups). On the “Backups” shared drive I have all my movies saved in individual folders in a subfolder located at “Volume1/Backups/DVDs/”. When I go to add my first library to Plex and browse for Media Folder, I can get to the “Volume1/Backups” shared folder but Plex does not show any subfolders. I have tried simply leaving that, and also manually trying to point to “Volume1/Backups/DVDs/” but in neither case does Plex find any of my Media. As a test I have also moved one of my folders with my movie files up to the “Volume1/Backups”, but Plex still does not find the media. What am I doing wrong?!
