I’m not sure who (or what?) told you that, but it is very much incorrect. Plex Movie Scanner is a legacy scanner (and should probably be marked as such). And the Plex Movie agent is modern agent. As such, they cannot be combined. There was likely a miscommunication leading to this misunderstanding.
