That’s it. Chromecast with Google TV doesn’t appear to have any of its own native subtitle settings like the Flex did.
I can change the color, but no matter what I put the size to it remains the same.
Are you casting to it or using the Android TV app? If casting need to change in the sender app you are casting from. The Android TV app has subtitle settings though in playback settings
If I cast from a device it works normally.
Using the GoogleTV UI that’s on the chromecast, when I change the size in the playback settings, the subtitles don’t change in size on the screen.
Are they SRT subtitles? Is it direct playing? I just tried with some SRTs embedded in file and I can see them getting larger/smaller as I move the size slider
Well, that’s odd. I went to try to replicate it, and the Plex app was behaving as if my Home server didn’t exist. I did a hard reset and now everything is working fine, including the subtitle sizing. I duplicated it like four times before posting so that’s annoying.
