Can't connect to my Plex Media Server from the LG TV WebOS application

Server Version#: 4.129.1
Player Version#: 5.84.1

I can connect to my Plex Media Server using my local network from any other device I tried: iOS App, MacOS Web and Windows Web, the connection works and I can stream my connect without any issue. But my LG TV, connected on the same network, doesn’t connect to the server, I even tried adding the server IP to the manual connections but still doesn’t work.

These are other things I tried:

  • Reinstalling the app on the TV
  • Log out and Log in again in the Plex app
  • Reset the Plex app
  • Disconnect the TV from the network and connecting it back

My server is running on a linux machine.

What kind of router do you use?

Do you have any type of DNS-based internet filter, like e.g. pi-hole, or any other type of a 3rd-party DNS resolver in your network?

I have a TP-Link Deco XE75. No I don’t have any type of DNS filtering.

Are you having trouble with the Docker server or the Windows server ?

With the docker server yes, my server on linux is running on docker with network mode host.
