I have two audio libraries on my server (music and audio books). If I start Plexamp and login with the account I used for the server, I get an error message that no server could be found even tough I can connect to the server with the standard Plex App (over local network). If I restart the App I am greeted with a black screen and nothing is happening. I tested this with the newest Version of Plexamp vor Windows and iOS.

Thanks for your reply. I checked the Network Settings of Plex and Require Secure Connections is set to “Preferred”. I have no problems connecting with the regular Plex App or do they have different requirements?

can you share plexamp logs? i’m a bit confused also by the “black screen”, you should at least see an error message.

I tried the last URL (http://LOCAL IP:32400/identity) in my Browser and I got the following response:

it’s hard to see what it’s trying from the logs, can you DM them to me unredacted, along with the IP of your device? any VPNs involved or anything else weird?
I figured it out. I had to set Preferred network interface to a specific one instead of using all.
Thanks for the update! Just so you know, plexamp works fine with HTTPS on LAN, you just need to make sure our DNS is working, per those tips.
