Just updated PlexAmp on my Pixel 4 which is on Android 11 and it no longer finds my server. Plex app finds it just fine on same device. So looks like you broke something in this update. I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it same problem. Same issue on my Android 8 dap to.
Any advice?
nothing really changed in this area. post debug logs and we’ll have a look, but make sure your server is accessible.

I already said the Plex app connects fine on same devices and others. Its just Plexamp that won’t see it.
My PlexAmp version 3.2.1 (latest) is running fine and seeing my server perfectly on my Android device (Samsung Galaxy S9+ )
I agree, make sure your server / NAS etc is on and running and ok and you dont have any restrictions setup for that phone.
Did it work before?
How abot a hard shut down of the phone and reboot.
Also clear the cache in the settings area.

As I said the server is fine. Plex app can connect on same device. All other devices I use with Plex can connect. Plexamp does not on two different devices. The issue is Plexamp. Nothings changed other than Plexamp, yes it worked fine before. Plex web connects to the server fine.
The logs show two servers:
SIMONS PLEX requires secure connections, but it’s not publishing any secure ones. I would recommend restarting it and potentially changing “require secure connections” to “prefer secure connections”.
I have the EXACT same issue on my Note 10+. When accessing remotely Plexamp will sometimes allow me to see and browse my library but nada when you try playing tracks. Other times it won’t even load my library.
I always hop over to main Plex App when it’s happening and everything works/plays flawlessly. I also have had Prefer Secure Connections on the entire time.
The only change in my scenerio is I recently replaced the fios router with my own. Unfortunately my public IP tends to change fairly often now when before it almost never changed.
I read PMS usually detects public IP changes within an hour. Are either of you using a static public or also experience frequent Wan ip changes? Could Plexamp not be getting notifed of the IP changes or something? Lmk if you want logs. Thanks!
It only has secure connections set as that’s what I want that’s all I ever use and it works for standard Plex without any issue It worked fine before this update and had not had any issues at all. I have two servers ones a back up but is video only and not really used so ignore the second one. I rebooted the server and now it seems to see it again but for how long I don’t know.
