WTF,.... so is there any workaround except selecting None for atv's subtitles yet? how is this even possible that the seekbar/pause doesnt work when ATV's subs are set to AUTO?
Had the same issue. Set subtitle language to Auto (was Swedish before) and everything worked fine. Put it back to Swedish and it still worked as it should. It might be that just changing the subtitle language on the ATV is enough to get the regular progress bar and behavior back.

It worked like that for me too, but after a while the issue got back (I have a feelin that the Apple TV restarted).
Anyway, I also have the feeling when streaming from my iPhone/iPad to my Apple TV (only tested with Plex) so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with PlexConnect, but rather something with iOS 7.
