Running PMS 1.16.5.1488 on Openmediavault 4 (no Docker)
I have to join the claims of the people on the forum. The main 3 reasons I got a premium pass were Gracenote audio fingerprinting, Mood/Plex mixes and syncing to mobile devices. The first two options are gone now, and for quite a long time already. Plex team’s statement of “we are working on big changes right now” is, well, nice, but quite vague. The people paying the premium subscription are expecting to have access to the premium features. Suddenly removing those features, without a clear statement of when the “big changes” will come is not fair for the users.
Don’t take me wrong, I’ve being using Plex for years now, and finally I bite the bullet and got the premium subscription. And I loved it. But right now I am back to an almost vanilla non premium server, and that is not what I paid for.

I have been needing to re-import and clean up my library for a while now, and I keep waiting for the new Plex music option but would love to see a timeline on when they expect this feature to be available.
Hopefully this is sorted before iTunes is sunset (Catalina is released). I’m hoping to migrate my music library to Plex.
Seems like the latest version ( 1.18.0.1846) provides a new music meta data scanner: Upgrading Music Libraries to the New Metadata System | Plex Support. Looks promising
