Cant download the Plex Media Server as I only have work laptop?

Hi guys

So I cant download the Plex Media Server as I only have a work laptop, i can go on the url link : https://app.plex.tv/web/app#

But how do i add channels, tv shows etc?

I have attached a picture of the display.

Any help will be appreicated, thanks.

You cannot add channels or watch LiveTV to Plex Cloud. You need to have a local server and for LiveTV a tuner to get your TV.
Do you know how Plex works and did you read about it before you bought a Plex Pass?

I do not think you can add “channels” to “Plex Cloud.”

For regular access to media you own you need to get the media in a usable format and correctly named and the upload it to one of the supported cloud systems.

So what options do i have? i want to run it through kodi, i have linked kodi to my plex account.

Any way i can watch tv without downloading the media server?

Only other thing i can think of is to get one of my family members to download it for me.

You have to have a local server to use LiveTV.
Do you also understand that you have to have a TV tuner as listed here (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/225877427-Supported-DVR-Tuners-and-Antennas) to use the LiveTV option?
Also, not sure how you are using Kodi but LiveTV is only available on certain Plex clients.
it would be really helpful if you read the FAQ articles on this stuff instead of just asking for people to do your research for you.

My assumption -
Rsava is a Kodi user that think he will try/move to Plex thinking it does the same thing.

Rsava - It does NOT.

How is he running Kodi on this work laptop?

Maybe the point is he doesn’t have a device to be a server, and something separate to host the client.

@spikemixture - Rsava (that would be me) IS NOT a Kodi user. Not sure why you would assume anything like that.
