I need Help With Live TV

Hi Folks, I need help setting up Live TV with my Plex Pass account on my Smart Android TV. I a little tech slow so is there anyone who can assist me. I desperately want to cut the cable cord fast.

I don’t mean to be vague. I recently signed up and downloaded the Plex Pass app to my smart TV. I’m trying to get help on the next steps to get the app to play live tv.

Then you need a device to receive OTA channels via Antenna, e.g. HDHomeRun Connect.
Plex doesn’t get channels on its own.

With Plex Pass you have access to Plex Cloud where the media server is running in the “Cloud”. However you can’t use Plex DVR/Live TV with Plex Cloud. So you need a dedicated machine to run Plex Media Server on.

Yes, you will need a Plex media server(Locally for live TV) and a tuner for whichever signal you intend to use.

Plex apps require plex server.
DVR/TV require local.
Any other personal media can be hosted Plex cloud.
