Can't edit Movie/TV Show folder paths after changing root hard drive path letters

After adding 2 new hard drives and changing the root drive letters on the new drive to be the same as the old hard drive letters, then copying all the media files from the old to new drives and restarting the plex media server, I try to go into the Movie and TV Shows catagories to add/edit the correct drive paths so it can find and rescan my media, but I get a message saying “Your changes could not be saved”. What do I do to fix this?

Have you tried restarting Plex? Can you post a copy of your server logs?

Did you previously also move the Plex data folder to one of these drives?

I think there is a bigger issue. I am having the same issue. I cannot change anything in all three of the TV libraries. I can update my Movie libraries. I checked the DB and it is clean. Restarted Plex service and server but no change

Please compare the behavior of the hosted web app with the local web app.

There is definitely a problem, and downgrading doesn’t help.

I’m unable to modify my libraries, and I can’t even enable debug logging to try and find the issue. Everything reports your changes cannot be saved.

And no, this is not a permissions issue.
