I’m using tags a lot for movies, tv-shows, images, … but I can’t find a way to add a tag to an individual episode. Is this entryfield missing on Android for Fire-TV or is this feature completely missing for episodes?

From what I can see there’s only the Writers and Directors as tags on episodes. You can add individual episodes to collections using the Add To context menu (if that’s what you’re looking for).
IIRC there’s no way to edit metadata / tags in mobile or big screen apps of Plex.

Is there a reason why Movie-Collections are part of the Movie-Details dialog and Episode-Collections are set through a menu-entry?
A little bit inconsistent.
None that I’m aware of. Right now I’m mostly glad to have the option to create season and episode collections – though I see your point.
Some users have also raised the question why you can only filter by the show-level collections but not the others (same goes for smart collections).
