Is there really no way to add tags or collections to seasons or episodes of shows?

I do make extensive use of tags and collections for movie and music libraries.

But I can’t find a way to add tags or collections to seasons or episodes of tv-shows? Is there really no way to do so?

Yep its looks like collections for TV Shows is only available at Show level rather than season or episode level.
You don’t really describe your usage scenario, but would playlists not fit in with what you are trying to achieve?

I did add a lot of tags to episodes with TinyMediaManager and could not find a way to archive that with Plex.

E.g. I mark episodes as “Logo” if there’s a logo shown in the video. You get the idea. It’s nothing that belongs to a playlist, just a mark, a tag, for media.

It’s possible with movies and music, why is it not possible with episodes.

The Plex database is prepared for this (tables tags/taggings). All combinations of metadata_type and tag_type are possible, hence not reachable in the UI.
