How to tag a single TV show episode?

Hi,

I want to be able to tag single TV show episodes. Especially, with the holidays coming up, I want to be able to tag the shows that are holiday related. Under the “Tags” section, there is only writers and directors, nothing for Genre, other Tags, etc.

How do you tag this? I’ve used Emby and other similar media servers and there is a simple Genre option and also other Tag options so it’s easy to have multiple ways of marking these show and then finding them again. But I can’t seem to find that in Plex (only posts many years old on Reddit of others requesting this same feature). Seems like it;s so little to ask - just a Genre tag?

Any ideas would be amazing. Thanks so much in advance for any info, experiences, etc!

There isn’t an option to add tags to episodes. You can add episodes to a collection.
