Can't find server, wont recognize plex media server?

Hey,

Plex media server is downloaded and open, once I open it im physically on plex media server but its telling me I need to download plex media server? It also says looking for server and just keeps spinning. any help please!!

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I followed your steps and i’m still getting the error message 'Looking for servers" “A server could not be found. Download and install Plex Media Server, and it will appear here.”

This is very frustrating as you can imagine.

Any other ideas?
