Plex can’t find my hauppauge wintv-dualhd tuner. I don’t know what to put in the “device address” to find it. I’ve tried my IP… Been googling and ■■■■■■■ around for 2 hours now I have no idea what to do.
Is the tuner installed into the same machine as Plex server is running on?

I’m having the same issue with the Hauppauge Xbox One tuner on Windows 10 x64. I installed the drivers from the Hauppauge website and rebooted. It appears to be showing up correctly in Windows device manager under “sound, video and game controllers”. My Plex Settings-Server-DVR Setup screen just keeps spinning, however. Mine is also installed on the same pc that the Plex server is running on.
Well mine was resolved by updating to PMS 1.7.3.x. It took me a while to find download but after downloading and installing, the “DVR setup” found USB device and it was off to the races!
You’re right! I went to settings-server-general and changed the update channel from “Public” to “Plex Pass”. A new update 1.7.3.3937 was pushed to me and viola! The USB device was detected instantly. I didn’t realize “Plex Pass” was going to be an option… Thank you!
