So 3 transcodes, added about 700MB, which is the expected behavior imo… S1001 Network is a different matter altogether…
Hopefully someone else has more information or insight into the issue, but nothing I’ve seen here gives me enough info to help further…
@JasonNalley thank you i hope so to
enjoy your thanksgiving
@pl_5309 can you see anything in the logs on why the GPU ran out of memory?

Before you upload a new set of logs can you verify that you have jumbo frames disabled on the nas and the server?
Change the transcoder temp directory from the ram drive to a local drive, start your test file and wait for 2-3 minutes before grabbing the logs.
I found jumbo frame set for 1500 on the qnap. i just changed the temp transcoding to the local drive… I will post the logs when i get the qnap off jumbo frames
i just got off support and there is no setting to turn off jumbo frames on the qnap. do you want me to do the test? @pl_5309
@pl_5309 Here the log after a min or so. Plex Media Server Logs_2019-11-27_14-42-31.zip (2.0 MB)
6 direct streams and 2 transcoding
@JasonNalley @pl_5309 I got up to 14 streams until I saw very minor studders. Local played
