Your tv show library should have 2 items on the Add Folders tab:
MyTV/BBC TV
and
MyTV/US TV
Not just MyTV
.
And it is never a good idea to enclose a folder name completely in square brackets, like you did with “Mad Men”.

Uncheck Prefer Local Metadata. Save changes & rescan the library. This was not checked.
Question: Which scanner & agent are selected (also on Advanced tab)? Plex TV Series / Plex Series are the defaults. Please advise if you are using something different. The Plex agent is selected for both.
Thanks for the screenshots. The episode names look OK.
I’ll echo what @OttoKerner wrote.
Given your current folder structure, You need to add the BBC TV
and US TV
folders to the TV show library, not MyTV
.
If you add MyTV,
then Plex will not import the shows correctly. You will experience problems like what you describe in the thread.
Given your current directory structure, you cannot add MyTV
to any Plex library.
Also remove the square brackets from Mad Men. The Plex scanner ignores information in square brackets when trying to match shows.
OK, did two things here. I moved the 11.22.63 shows to a newly created library folder, and deleted the \MyTV folder out of the “TV Show” library setup. I just had “My TV\BBC TV” and “My TV\US TV” as entries in the TV Show library. Now all shows are showing up. I had brackets around the Mad Men folder as I was experimenting with how I could temporarily not display the Mad Men show without deleting all the episode files. How do I do that? (if its possible?). Also how do I name folders\files for programs that are show “extras” like “Directors commentaries” or other show “extras”? Thank you for your help.
Two options.
Look at the show listings at TMDB & TVDB. Some shows have extras/specials/etc. listed for Season 0 / Specials. Plex will match those the same as it does for episodes. You can use either “Season 0” or “Specials” for the folder name.
Also see Local Files for TV Show Trailers and Extras. You can add directories for deleted scenes, trailers, etc. Note that not all Plex clients support this format. See the table in the documentation.
An easy way is to move the show to an area not scanned by Plex.
I’ve never tried square brackets around a show name. Don’t know if it will work.
Good. Shows are appearing correctly. You should be able to move 11.22.63 back to US TV
.
So new here to Plex. Learning good stuff. So my desire for having two separate folders for “BBC TV” and “US TV” shows is so that I would have two separate “TV Show” libraries showing up on the viewing list. This is not happening. All the BBC and US TV shows are showing up together on one library under “TV shows”. Is there a way to present them in separate libraries? Thanks in advance…
In my opinion, smart collections would be a better tool to accomplish this:

One of the available advanced filters is “Folder Location.” So, create two smart collections, one each for you BBC and USA TV folders. Once created, you can set them to be visible on your home screen, where they’ll then appear as individual hubs.
Just an idea.
In addition to smart collections, you can have multiple TV show libraries.
TV Show Library #1: Add BBC TV folder.
TV Show Library #2: Add USA TV folder.
