I am trying to watch a show through Plex on my PS4. I turned it on there but for some reason the dialogue is totally muted and all I can hear are some ambiance sounds such as chirping birds and some wind etc. I then tried to watch this show on Plex via my ipad and also my personal computer where the show worked perfectly well on both. Is there something I need to do to enable my PS4 to pick up the dialogue audio channel?

the ps4 is connected to a soundbar, not surround sound. to be honest i am unsure of the settings, they must be defaulted because I don’t recall ever changing anything. How can I check this?

what do i do after selecting my username? I don’t see any settings there (im sorry)
if you don’t see settings when selecting your username then it does not sound like you are using our app.
oh whoops, sorry i misunderstood - i check the settings it says:
Dolby Digital AC3 (checked)
Volume Boost = None
try turning off AC3 . you may have to change the ps4’s own audio settings
