Hi, i have been using Plex server for many years now.
As a network & system engineer i can fix most things myself but now i am reaching out for help because i am lost.
I was always able to invite friends and let them access my library without much issues.
More recently i seem to be getting errors when i inivite people to my server.
It seems to happen when the email is already a Plex account. (something ive been dying to figure out but cant)
Usually i get around by letting the users provide another email account.
But now i have a good friend who cant fix his account because he lost access to the email.
And any new account i try to invite it fails.
To the point where i logged into his account to check things (started disbeleiving him).
To the point where i created a new email and invited myself, and i came to the conclusion there is indeed something wrong.
When i was creating the new account (laine.plex.2024@gmail.com) on plex.tv i got an unexcpected error.
Afterwards the account was created and i can log in with it.
But the invite from myself to get access to my libraries is still pending.
When i try to accept it i keep getting error 500 (see attached screenshot).
I have tried removing active friends on my server (clean up).
I have tried restarting my Plex server.
But nothing seems to help and i really need to be able to give access to the friends i want.
So could someone please help me with this matter ?
