Whenever I try to log in to the Plex – from any device – it accepts my username and password, and then after I click the option to allow it to sign in with my Plex account, it says “internal server error. something went wrong on our end” in the top-right corner of the window. sometimes it also pops up another box that says that my credentials have expired and I need to log in again.
I’ve searched the forums and others had something similar with a linked Tidal account, but when I go to the section to link accounts, it doesn’t say that I have anything linked and only offer to link a last.fm or sonos account.
I’m not really sure where to go from here, as it seems to be something outside of my control since it happens on any device I try?
I am also experiencing this problem across MacOS devices and Windows devices in the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome. I have tried clearing cache/cookies for Plex and nothing seems to resolve this.
Yeah, me too on Linux / Brave browser. can login to plex.tv site. but when i click open plex, i get the same errors as the OP. i’ve tried for like 30mins to login, use other browsers.. then suddenly it just worked
Having the same problem. The ONLY place I can access my server from is the app.plex.tv page. Accessing through the Windows app does not work, accessing through the Apple TV app does not work, access through Roku nor phone work. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not work, starting from scratch with a new server also did not work.
Plex not working on Web og Windows app… any announcements from plex? - has been an issue for at least a week… sucks to pay for plex pass for something not working….
