Can't match, needs update

Hi,

Plex can’t match any new files, which is no issue as it usually mean I need to update the PMS. My problem is that I have downloaded and installed the latest version (1.19.3.2740-add6f438d April 30, 2020) but it still won’t match anything new and still says there is a new update that I need to install manually.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Adding and matching new content should not depend on installing updates.
Are the files recognized by Plex (e.g. showing up in Plex but getting no metadata) or are the not detected at all?
Could you share an example of how those files are named (incl. folder structure from the folder linked to your Plex library to the actual movie)?

PS: I hope you’re not adding the media files to the Plex data folder?
