Good day, reaching out to this part of the forums for media server for help. Long story short. Working plex media server on a MacBook pro running mac os Sierra with latest plex media server. Brand new iMac with Catalina, did migration assistant, everything good except plex. Checked for database errors, there is but when repair won’t open. Check current working plex on MacBook, all is well. Can not copy or duplicate plex media server in application support as i get an error on a bundle error code -36. read online tried doing dot clean still no luck. Can copy the same file from a time machine backup but does same think as it did from migration from the time machine back up. at a loss here, don’t really wanna redo my entire library and lose everything as in settings, watched items etc. below are two threads from desktop category where I’ve posted more detail and logs but no help yet.
I’ve narrowed it down for now as I’m currently copying whatever is in the folder in application support by folder for folder and the error code 36 is coming from Metadata folder
