After I moved the hard drives containing the files to the new desktop and added them to the new stablebit drivepool on the new Windows 10 desktop form old windows 10 desktop within identical drivepool. I did have to rename the drive pool letter to ensure the libraries all matched. When I log into the Plex Web App I now see all the different libraries and see all the files match up. I try to play one and it pulls up the background image and then just spins. I then get the following error “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”
I tried one of the tv shows I failed to play in the media player on the desktop that gave me the error above and I was able to play that episode from the file share with no problems. When I moved everything over to the new desktop I copied the registry files over as well as the all but the logs, crash reports and diagnostics folders form the old desktop. What have I done wrong that is causing the the playback errors on the desktop media player and both Roku TVs?
Still can’t play movies or tv shows, but I am able to listen to music and audiobooks and some small mp4 videos. Anything larger than 4 minutes and I get the conversion error.
