Hi,
I’m having some weird issues with Plex.
I’m running plex on a Windows 10 Home Intel NUC. (Intel Core i3-3217U, 16GB RAM, 120GB SSD for the OS, Ethernet for the network). I have my media files on an old ReadyNAS NV+, which is mounted as a network drive on the NUC. Plex is not installed on the NAS.
I’ve been using the NAS for a couple of years, but my PMS server was an old Raspberry Pi 2.
My NAS directory is as follows:
A:\TV
A:\Music
A:\Movies
I have three Libraries, TV, Movies and Music, two of which work fine and I can play content with no issues. TV does not. When I play TV content, it just has the loading circle and just hangs there indefinitely.
I uninstalled and reinstalled PMS. Content would then play, but it was buffering every few seconds (confirmed with overlay logging) making it unwatchable.
This morning it has now gone back to not playing at all. Nothing has been restarted since it did work. Again, content from the other libraries works OK.
I’ve tried making a new TV Shows Library and copied one episode over, and the issue was the same.
I’m really stuck on what the cause could be here and welcome any suggestions.
