Some media won't play, some does

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252
Player Version#: 4.34.4
Hi everyone - I have a lot going on in my Plex world, but I have one issue that’s making life tough right now.

I’m in the process of moving over to a NAS from local USB storage. For the time being, to help with the portability of this, I moved my Plex Media Server folder to a network location. I understand this is almost certainly not the best way to do it, but it by and large works and I do not plan on going full time with this setup.

While I am moving my content slowly over, for the purposes of this, I am still running from local USB storage on Windows 10.

I can’t be totally sure this is the cause, but I am now in a situation where certain TV shows and movies won’t begin playing and stay on the initial player pinwheel screen. It seems to be happening across most, if not all libraries

Some other things I’ve noticed:
It’s happening by show, not by time added…if one episode doesn’t work, they all don’t and vice versa
I run tautulli, and when I hit one of these a session is created and shows as playing on there, however I always get a 0kbps bandwidth reading.

I took a look at the basic Plex logs and they seem like they’re showing normal activity: I see it select my item, get metadata, etc. Kicking one of these off didn’t instantly set off a million obvious errors in multiple logs.

I’m coming in a bit hot on this one, as I’m still myself trying to get a full grasp of how big an issue I have here. I have done the absolute bare minimum of restarting the server, but that’s it so far.
Thanks for reading and giving it a thought!

I appreciate the response. I’ve had very good luck with Plex, so I don’t post here often, so my apologies for being a bit scattershot with my information. I should mention that I am only using the nas for storage, Plex itself is running on a dumpy little Windows 10 machine that is in the process of being replaced.

You know, I think I have a local issue on one of my players and this can be safely removed/closed. Sorry for the panic.
