Cant play my own media - stuck @ 33%

I can play media from my own Plex server fine on all other players remote & local besides my TCL Roku TV. I can browse fine but when attempting to actually play anything it goes to 33%, resets, goes to 33 again and once or twice more before failing with “multiple playback errors”. Media from other servers play fine. Deleted and readded the Plex app on the TV. I dont believe it to be related to subtitles as some people have indicated. Any suggestions?

No suggestions, but same problem here, except I get to 13% before it resets and goes to 13% again and eventually fails with the same “multiple playback errors”. Server version 1.26.2.5797 here, on a Roku Ultra 4662RW with player version 7.0 build 9. It has to be a client problem of some type since all my other players seem to work fine.

I’ve seen this behavior with some media and it seemed to be the format of the video when streaming via a roku 4k box.

Go through your library and see if any will play then make a comparison of the video formats, codex being used, etc for those that work and do not.

You can try converting a non-functioning file to other formats as a test as well which may help track down the culprit.
