Can't play videos with subtitles on shield client

Server Version#: Version 4.126.1, Ubuntu 22.04.3 on Proxmox
Player Version#: Nvidia Shield 10.11.0.183 (67e5c2db)

Almost none of my media can play on my nvidia shield when I have subititles turned on. But I can play them fine on my computer with subs. Looked through the logs (attached), but I don’t see anything that stands out. Hoping that someone can take a look.

Look for Drive to Survive, which I started playing at 17:19 on my shield in the attached log (Plex Media Server.log). Then immediately after, I played it on my computer and it played fine.
