Can't re-arrange libraries in Plex for Windows (Desktop Player)

Plex for Windows
Player Version#: 1.59.1.3398-dab42972

I’ve searched for hours and found nothing helpful on this question…
In Plex for Windows, I would like to re-arrange the libraries in the main menu. Seems to be impossible.

I can unpin a library in the < PINNED Menu but that only ensures it won’t appear on the the HOME menu in whatever pre-ordained order has been cooked into the code. It does Not allow the library to be moved up or down in the list. Is this even possible?

Annnd here’s my negative comment on the menu I’m having issues with. IMHO - The rotating main menu on the left part of the screen is an abomination. It’s NON-intuitive and Is confusing to family members.

Click on the ‘< PINNED’ link at the top of the menu and the ‘HOME’ menu appears. If you want to go back, you just click the link at the same location, right? Nope, that hyperlinked text disappeared. I found that I had to move to the very bottom of the menu and click on ‘MORE >’.

More to the point, what is the logic behind having two flip-flopping menu’s that users hit repeatedly when using the app? And then making it difficult to move between the two? A hamburger icon that takes the user to a configuration screen would seem to make more sense and would be cleaner. Of course, perhaps I’m simply missing something Bigtime, in which case I’m sure someone will let me know - and I will then quietly find the nearest rock to crawl under.

I can’t leave on a sour note. Overall, I really like PLEX and my family uses it almost daily. Many thanks to the developers - and to anyone who can tell me how to re-arrange the libraries in Plex for Windows.

You can reorder items in your sidebar (the pinned libraries) via their context menu (). The Reorder action should be right below the Unpin command.

You cannot reorder how libraries are displayed in the More section. IIRC those used to be ordered by library type, then their title – it seems they’re currently just ordered alphabetically.

Thank you for the quick response, Tom. Very helpful in my moment of aggravation and of course, you are exactly right. But I thought I had… Nevermind, the problem was really between the keyboard and my chair.

Also, I copied my original post from a text editor so there was no bolding. Don’t know how that happened.

Thanks again!
