Every so often, new items fail to fetch metadata from TheTVDB. Often it is just a matter of non-existent entry on the site, which is quickly fixed either by me or someone else. However, even after waiting for the Plex cache to update I can’t update any items, when trying to do so the log reads [10024] WARN - Unable to load episode file ["seasons\X\episodes\Y.xml"] every single time, doesn’t matter how old or new the entry is, even it already has metadata (I might want to update due to changes to one field, like description).
Oddly or not, if I go into the server option to show that entry’s XML data, it returns no error and everything is there.
Sure enough, if I do the Plex Dance the metadata is fetched anew. However, such a convoluted process is hardly an acceptable solution when there’s a item in the interface to achieve just that.
