Can't remove an xbox signed in from a users account?

Hello!

This is my first post here so bear with me but I know this is a huge problem.

My girlfriend who has access to my Plex server logged in to Plex on her friends xbox months ago. Problem is, she never signed out and now he moved away. For some reason, he still has access to my plex server under her account yet it won’t appear in my device list so that I can remove the access. I can see when and what he is watching and that it is on an xbox but there’s absolutely nothing I can do to revoke his access on that xbox and sign my girlfriends account out. He also refuses to sign out.

Round about way I know I could revoke my girlfriends account and make her create a new one but that’s a hassle, she doesn’t want to do it and all her watched and continue watching data will be gone (as well as playlists etc).

I know others are having this problem, anyone have actual solutions to revoke xbox access and not just the round-a-bout ways any logical person should be already familiar with?

If the device is logged in with your girlfriends account, it would show up in her device list and not yours. It should be able to be removed from there.

If you want to use the nuclear option, the below will remove all registered devices on her account.

  1. Go to with your girlfriend signed into her account: https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/account
  2. Next to password, click Edit
  3. Change the password and make sure to check “Sign out connected devices after password change”
