Can't remove Continue Watching, Recent Channels, or Shows on Now from Home

I was able to completely remove all items from Home Screen on my Apple TV & Fire TV, but on the Roku Ultra, I somehow accidentally turned on “Smart” something or other, and now my Home Screen has Continue Watching, Recent Channels, and Shows on Now.

Any way to remove these?

I have also turned off all the “Manage Recommendations” across the board on the server side (newly introduced feature).

I find it funny that Plex has always said the Home can be customized however I want, as long as it is the Plex way, lol.

In my case, I would love to nuke the Home item altogether.

For a library Edit library(ies) and under advanced choose exclude from home screen

Recent Channels is from Live TV I think and if you want to get rid of those rows the only current way is to not have it pinned on home screen side bar

I tried setting all libraries to Exclude from Home Screen, and no change (everything still shows up as before).

Update. The Movies and TV content finally disappeared on Roku Home, but as you said, I had to remove Live TV & DVR to get the Recent Channels & Shows on Now to disappear.

I really don’t get why I can’t just nuke Home altogether…

Something changed recently. I did not have recent channels and shows in my list, even though my main use is Live TV and DVR. I removed them, by redoing customization, and they reappeared within 24 hours. This seems like a new bug.

Same issue here. Can’t figure how to remove the “Recent Channels” and “Shows on Now” from the home screen. The help page says to use the “Manage hubs” function, but this is no longer an option. It now says to use “Manage Recommendations”. But there is no option to manage “Live TV”.

I am now seeing that this is the only way to remove it. However, I use Live TV daily. Wish I could manually remove the rows since I have no need for them. Hoping in the future there is more control over these rows.
