Hi it seems that I can’t reply to any posts on the forums. I am a plexpass user.
Can anyone please help?
What happens when you try?
Strangely enough I can reply to this one. But usually I don’t get the reply box at the bottom. Here it did.
Maybe you tried to reply on forums in the ‘archived’ section. Those are read-only.
I don’t think so, I am trying to reply to a post that is new and open. It is in the Plex pass zone (I am a member) maybe my account hasn’t been activated to post in the plex pass forum yet.
It appears that your forum account is not completely enabled.
If you look at your member page, you’ll see that your status is still displayed as ‘Validating’.
This is due to a glitch in the forum software.
Do the following: (copy these instructions into a text editor to have them handy)
- ‘Sign Out’ of the forums (link under the ‘cog’ icon, top left)
- log out from plex.tv
- close web browser
- open web browser and go to plex.tv, sign in there
- go to the forums
- you’ll be presented with a message, that you are a newcomer and that you have to confirm your email. Please perform and complete this procedure, even if you already did this before.
- after you clicked the link in the confirmation email, click this link https://forums.plex.tv/sso
One of the administrators has ‘confirmed’ your account by hand, so you can disregard the above instructions.
You should be able now to post in all ‘Public’ and ‘PlexPass’ subforums.
