No I only have one, HairyShark. This new account has the name RRGAG. I have no idea where that came from, sorry. Have been using the same Hairyshark account for years. I apologize for my confusion I am baffled as to what happened tis morning. I did the reset as desribed in the first email and it logged me into the RRGAG account that I was not aware even existed. I am n ot sure what to do here.

I am not seeing my server, nor the plex pass I have been using for the last 5 years or so. for my kids. I see little to no history for this account.

I should add my plex app on my servier works fine and is still using the Hairyshark account.

Well, the rrgag account is linked to an email address like rrgagXXXX@gmail.com
And IP used to access that account it 72.184.10X.YYY

Funny enough, the account named Hairyshark has the same IP address :wink:
And has an email address of robeXXXXXX@yahoo.com

So I bet you had two accounts, forgot about the first, and for now only received one Pwd Reset mail from us, and thought it was for your primary account?

So in order for me to issue a PWD Reset link for the Hairyshark, I need to confirm you are indeed the owner.

So DM me the email address, as well as the name of your PMS server

Thank you dane22. It worked without issue. I appreciate the manual process and the effort that takes, as the chaotic day with Plex seems to continue. I would suggest that the process to force everyone to change their password needs some work. It really should not be this difficult.

I, too, am not getting the password reset messages. I’ve been trying for over 12 hours.

My password change was reportedly successful, and I logged out of everything upon change. New password isn’t working. Not getting “forgot” mails.

Had to create this new forum account to be able to post, as I can’t log in with my real account.

What are my options at this point? I’ve tried everything I can find in the forum.

I too have not received the email to reset my password.

This is really strange - my win7 plex server works fine with my new credentials (so the changed password must have filtered thru to it) - BUT the same credentials wont let me log into your portal web service - which in reality I very rarely need to do - and I can access the forums - what to do??

Unable to access my server also since the password reset, who at Plex do I talk to to get them to sort this, tried all the methods on the support page and nada.

It’s been over 12 hours now and I have yet to receive a reset email. I created this account so I could leave a message in this forum.
My main account has a Plex Pass subscription attached to it.
I have an old yahoo email associated with my main acct. Is there an issue with that service to stop the email resets from being sent out?

Mine is yahoo as well

Tried to reset password but received this error message … “The token is invalid, please request a new one”.

What a total mess!

Security breaches, no tech support and people unable to reset passwords. Maybe it is time to leave Plex behind and find an alternative.

I don’t know if this is a coincidence or not, but 10 minutes after I posted my message, I received three resets to my yahoo email. I’m back in. Very weird.

I just checked again also, I am back in now. Thank you to who ever took care of us

Can I please have a reset link as well? I recently unlinked my account from Google, and now need to reset my password to access plex.tv/servers, but the reset email doesn’t arrive.

I’m getting the same issue, could I have a link as well?
