Unable to reset password

I have tried resetting my account Pwd several times but I never receive the reset link… the email is 100% correct, can a Plex employee check what is the problem?

If you still know the old password, there is no need to wait for the email.
Go here, scroll down to “Password” and click on “Edit”: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account

What is “VERIFICATION CODE” and how do I get it?

That is the 2-Factor authentication code, which you create with your authenticator app. (or you use one of the reserve codes which you received when you activated 2FA)

if you have the 2fa code you have to enter it

i’ve changed my password from my local plex server, but i have the 2fa authenticator…
i’ve changed it just to be more “secure”

As @OttoKerner said, you don’t have to wait for the email.

The emails took about 30 minutes to arrive. I assume yours has arrived by now.

Seems their Mail Servers are under stress Not reciveving password reset email - #12 by dane22 hence no password reset mail being sent…

Is it enough to change the password in the app or is “Sign out connected devices…” required too?

I have two family members in two different locations. Do they need to change their passwords too?

I have an account that I cannot get the email password reset to come to me.

Maybe the account was disabled but that is my primary account.

Any idea how long Plex.tv will be down for? Site says a fix was implemented but my server is still down and inaccessible.

Unless I’ve done something wrong, but I did reclaim my server after resetting the password.

Nevermind, here’s my problem.

Go to account settings: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account

Scroll down to Password and select Edit.

Same issue. Not getting ANY emails from Plex since the breach email.

I cannot log in with the account I posted earlier. I was in the app and did the password reset with in the app and selected the option to sign out all other devices. I did so and now the new password does not work. So it seems I’m locked out of the other account I posted earlier.

Please DM me the following info:

  1. Your email address
  2. The name of at least one of your servers

Above will help me identifying you, so I manually can issue a new Pwd Reset for you
