Can't set Plex Server on my computer with my plex pass id

I have a plex pass with userid by8te. In the past I have used van2van2. I uninstalled plex on my Mac and re-downloaded plex server. It still creates server with van2van2. When I try to change userid to by8te it says already in use. How am I supposed to set up the plex server on my Mac. Can I use the by8te id? Thanks in advance for the help.

You need to log into your server first using your van2van account. Then in the Settings \ Server \ General, sign out. Then sign out from Plex Web. Sign back into Plex web with by8te. Then sign the server in with by8te.
