Can't sign in on my Samsung TV

Dear Plex users, i’m starting to going to mad soon! :smiley:

I used Plex for years (on this very same TV), but now it’s somehow can’t let me sign in on my Samsung TV.

I have tried everything:

  1. Uninstall / Reinstall Plex app (on the TV, my PC has the latest Server)
  2. Clear Browser cache on the TV
  3. Factory reset the TV

The app still says on the TV after i click on Sign In:
“An unexpected erros has occured” and i cant get mey PIN.

You are my last hope guys!

I just went through the same thing.

It all started with Plex promoting me for which user I want to use. (Only had one setup) and it was showing it as Offline.

Decided to factory reset the TV… Nothing
Uninstall the app and reinstall… Now I can’t sign in.

Same error as you are getting.

Yes, totally the same for me!

Promoted for user select, - the server was totally online on my PC -, that was the point when the struggle was started! :slight_smile:
