My 2021 Neo QLED Samsung TV suddenly stopped playing media – initially it hung when I tapped play, then stopped loading library sections. I signed out of the app and tried to sign back in, only for that to fail – I lost all access to Plex (so go from having no personal media to none at all).
I’ve tried:
- Reinstalling Plex (as it’s preinstalled I can’t uninstall it)
- Resetting the TV
- Logging in more times than I can remember
- Leaving it for a day or so and trying again
- Resetting data within Settings > Advanced within the app (but that doesn’t seem to do anything).
The TV appears under Authorised Devices within the web app, but doesn’t seem to receive the auth token (or is screwing up somehow after it does).
The console shows a sign out failure followed by some issues in PlexTVConnectivityManager – I’ve attached a photo from the onscreen console below. Any further troubleshooting or debugging tips welcome!
