Can't start (service nor web) Plex after 1.15.6.1079 update on Freenas

Hi guys,
I’m new to the forum so forgive my ignorance.

I’m having trouble starting Plex(pass) server after latest update. Plex is hosted on Freenas and installed over a regular jail - I updated it last night by a simple pkg update && upgrade.

When I run “service plexmediaserver_plexpass” status it says:
plexmediaserver_plexpass is not running.
Tried to restart service/jail and even removing/installing the package again same issue…
When I try to access http://<my server’s IP address>:32400/web is says page cannot be displayed even though I can ping it (jail is up).

Any idea how can I fix this or even look at some logs that might indicate what the issue is? I was doing research all night and could not figure this out yet

I’m having the same problem - Updated my server this morning and now the plex service won’t start.

I’m using ‘pkg’ as my package manager as well… Can’t find a great way to revert to a previous build using that tool (maybe I’m missing something).

I posted the problem I found and how I fixed it here, though I assume it’s a more systemic issue that still needs to be properly resolved…
