Can't trust that downloads are completed. Slow download if download at all

Hello,

Years ago I discovered that downloads do not work satisfactory on Plex. Hence I never used it.

Now my kids would like to download movies and TV shows to their iPad and I am stunned to see that the issue still persist.

When they try to download media (music works fine) I see that the server is really active and has a lot of outgoing data. Still almost none of it reaches the iPad and it takes “forever” to download a TV show.

Is there anything I can do from my side to speed things up and make this work, or is this issue really not solved after all these years?

Not very active I’d say since this has been an issue for years…
