Can't watch live tv after the EPG debacle

I’ve been one of the victims of the EPG failures for the past week and missed a bunch of scheduled recordings.

Finally last night I could get the EPG to update to 100% completion and the guide looks fully populated. Unfortunately I can’t watch any live TV; I alway get back “Playback Error: The live TV session has ended.” This happens for multiple channels and I haven’t been able to find any that work. I know my hardware works because I also have Emby running and watching live TV and recording with the DVR works just fine.

My hardware is a HDHomerun Quatro, i7 PC hosting the PMS in OpenMediaVault, and using a Windows 10 i5 laptop as a client. I have attempted to watch both through the browser and Windows PMP. I have rebooted the server twice and have deleted and reinstalled the DVR twice, rebuilding the guide both times. The PMS and PMP are the latest versions.

Prior to the EPG update failures that started last week I was able to watch live TV and record without any problems. So it is most like that the EPG still has major problems.

Suggestions?

Did you find a fix for this issue. Live TV works on Emby.

Eventually Live TV started working but the EPG was still causing problems with scheduling DVR recordings so I canceled my Plex account and switched to Emby. If this had been a one time event I might have stayed but the fact that it took well over a week to get the guide working again, and the fact that forum history shows that they have frequent EPG problems convinced me to switch.
