Im trying to stream a video from eg. chrome, to my desktop player on the main Display (local network). The cast function is unavailable when a remote Server is selected. So i have to select a local Plex server connect to the remote Player and then switch to the remote Server, while the player stays connected in chrome and everything works fine. So why is the cast function unavailable at first, when it clearly can work with my workaround ? Ill understand that it should be a feature for the local network, but apparently it works the same way for remote servers, with 3 extra clicks. So how can i select the cast function directly when im connected to a remote plex server ? I have a plex pass and all servers are my own, any kind of combination, chrome,windows,android,ios not working… thanks
